Project context
BN Electrical Services is an independent electrical business established in 2008. Led by Ben Nolan, it supports homeowners, businesses and contractors across Blackpool and wider Lancashire.
The website project formed the first major piece of work within an ongoing Blueprint business growth and digital support engagement. BN Electrical already had an established identity, genuine project experience and a broad service offer. The task was to present those strengths more clearly online and create a stronger base for future search and content work.
The challenge
The new website needed to serve several audiences without making the business difficult to understand. Domestic customers, commercial organisations, landlords and contractors each needed a clear route to relevant information.
It also needed to combine local search relevance with straightforward customer language, credible proof and prominent enquiry routes, while staying true to BN Electrical’s existing black, white and green visual identity.
Project objectives
Create a professional website that makes BN Electrical’s services, locations and reasons to trust the business clear from the first visit.
Build distinct service journeys for domestic work, commercial work and electrical testing, supported by sound on-page SEO, mobile usability and clear quotation and telephone calls to action.
What Blueprint did
Blueprint planned a multi-page website structure around the way customers search for and choose an electrician. The final architecture separates domestic services, commercial services, testing and inspection, company information, project examples and contact routes.
The homepage was designed to establish the offer immediately: an electrician in Blackpool serving homes and businesses across Lancashire. It combines genuine business imagery with clear service language, direct quotation and telephone actions, and visible trust information including the business’s trading history, NICEIC Domestic Installer registration, insurance cover and free quotations.
Blueprint developed and structured the page content around real services including rewires, sockets, lighting, consumer-unit upgrades, fault finding, EICRs, CCTV, commercial alterations and contractor support. Page titles, descriptions, canonical URLs and local search wording were completed across the live pages, with the testing page specifically positioned around EICR and electrical testing searches in Blackpool.
The site was checked across desktop and mobile before launch. Google Search Console was connected and the Wix sitemap was made available for discovery. The Our Work page remains outside the search index while its project content is being prepared, preventing an incomplete page from becoming a search landing page.
What the business did
BN Electrical supplied its existing logo and brand identity, genuine business photography, service information and the verified trust details used throughout the website. Ben’s practical knowledge of the work helped keep the content accurate and grounded in how the business actually serves customers.

The new BN Electrical Services website was published on 18 September 2026 at bn-electrical.co.uk. Customers can now move from a clear local proposition to dedicated domestic, commercial and testing information before requesting a quotation or calling the business.
The website has a complete technical foundation for future search work, including distinct page topics, local relevance, indexable content, page-level metadata, canonical URLs, a sitemap and Search Console connection. The project is newly launched, so no claim is made yet about rankings, traffic, enquiries or revenue.
