If you run a small service business, your website has a practical job: explain what you do, give people confidence in your work and make it easy to contact you. It should work just as well for someone reading on a phone as it does on a computer.
Blueprint offers suitable small business website projects for a fixed fee of £995. The package covers the agreed website build, with the pages, content responsibilities and features confirmed before work begins.
This guide explains the scope and separate costs. You can also see the full £995 website package and discuss what your business needs.
Who is the £995 website package for?
The package is designed for UK sole traders and SMEs that need a professional brochure or service website. It suits businesses whose main goal is to explain their offer and generate enquiries, including trades, consultants, local service providers and other independent businesses.
You might be launching a business, replacing an outdated website or bringing your online presence into line with the work you now do. The right starting point is your services, your customers and what you want a visitor to do next.
What is included in the £995 build?
The work is agreed around a defined brief. The package includes:
- Website planning and an agreed page structure based on your business and customers.
- A professional design using your business information and approved brand assets.
- Mobile-friendly layouts with readable content and clear navigation.
- Presentation of the agreed content so customers can understand your services.
- Clear contact routes and agreed enquiry functionality.
- SEO foundations, including page titles, descriptions, headings and internal links.
- Review of the agreed website and a practical handover.
There is no universal page count promised for every business. We agree the pages and features before you commit, so both sides understand what the £995 covers. Larger content requirements, extra functionality or changes to the brief are discussed and quoted separately.
Which costs are separate?
The £995 is the website build fee. Your domain, hosting or website-platform plan, business email and any paid third-party tools have their own costs. These should be identified before choosing the platform or starting the build.
Optional branding support is available for £150. Ongoing SEO, future content updates and additional work are separate unless specifically included in the written scope. You will know which costs are needed to run the website and which services are optional.
Why the structure and content matter
A useful homepage quickly explains what the business provides, who it helps and where it works. Service pages then give customers enough detail to decide whether to enquire. Genuine project examples, accurate business information and straightforward contact options help visitors assess the business.
Those foundations also support search visibility. Clear subjects, useful headings and sensible internal links help search systems understand the site. The package provides that starting point; it does not promise Google rankings or a particular number of enquiries.
If your website gets visitors but little response, our guide to why SME websites miss enquiries explains the common breaks in that journey. Our AI search guide also covers how discovery is changing while the need for clear service information remains.
When the £995 package may not be suitable
A large ecommerce shop, complex booking system, membership portal, custom software product or major migration needs its own assessment. Extensive copywriting, unusual integrations and large content projects can also require a different scope.
That does not mean Blueprint cannot help. It means the work needs a separate quotation, agreed before you decide to proceed.
How the project starts
- Tell Alex what your business does, who you want to reach and what the website needs to achieve.
- Share your current website, if you have one, along with any existing logo, copy and images.
- Blueprint confirms whether the package fits and sets out the pages, features, responsibilities, price and expected schedule.
- Once the scope is agreed, the website is built, reviewed with you and prepared for handover.
You do not need a finished brief to get in touch. A short explanation of the business and what you want to improve is enough for the first conversation.
